Algorithms are censoring new ideas and shaping newsfeeds, is making us behave in order to fit their guidelines. But those rules are just a tiny part of a complex network of decision-making that goes beyond codes alone, and is reflecting back who we are as humans and helping us identify systematic problems in our society.
